Since I’m such a subscription box hoarder I decided to designate the reviews to Saturday… which is today… my favorite day!!!
Now, in case you never heard of them, LoveWithFood is a subscription service that helps you discover new organic, all-natural snacks . The membership starts at $10/month and you can cancel anytime, commitment-free. Every month, Love With Food members will receive a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty snacks which varies based on seasonal themes. This October box came with a Halloween vibe, and a few Fall flavors.
I tried this box with a promo code making it only $2, try FBPROMO, FBGIFT or FBFOOD.
THE BEST PART- For every box sold, they donate a meal to several food banks such as the Feeding America Network and Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry. This definitely makes this company stand out to me.
The box came with an order info card, that at first I thought was a greeting card! Call me childish, but it put a smile on my face. I’ve ordered a lot of snack subscription boxes and this is the only one that successfully made me feel like a friend rather than customer.
Anywho- here’s what I got:
Chocolate Pizzele Crisps from Silk City Snacks: $1 (guessitmate)
These are light and crispy Italian waffle cookies, under 100 calories! I was excited because they had chocolate- but they turned out to be too bland L I will not purchase.
New World Caveman Cookies by Caveman Bakery: 2 cookies: $1.90 value
Kind of frail looking, but made with a refreshing mix of pumpkin seeds and maple syrup.
Organic Hard Candies from Torie & Howard & Glee Gum, triple berry from Verve Inc
Pixo Pearls from Vinaigrette Gingras $1.80 value
This is apple cider vinegar flavor, I’m thinking I am going to pour it over my plain cheerios.
Happy Squeeze from Happy Family $1.80
I keep getting these in all my boxes! Not that I mind sampling the different flavors. They are pretty good when served cold.
Toasted Coconut Chips from Dang $2.50
I was worried at first glance- but they are delicious! They have the consistency of plantain chips but the taste of coconuts 🙂 Amazing!
Miniaturized Kind Bar from Kind Snacks $1.25
I’ve never really been into these bars and I don’t even feel it’s as healthy as advertised.
A bunch of coupons, including a voucher for 1 Free Honestly Good frozen dinner from Lean Cuisine: $4.99 value
Unfortunately I could not find a box in my local Shoprite.
The value of the box doesn’t seem to be much larger than what I paid, but that’s OK, the point is discovery.
What do you think of this month’s Lovewithfood?
